A Day In The Life of The Hurlbert's ...Minus Daddy

So today was pretty normal. We didnt make it to church but i did get a lot of things on my to-do-list done. I made a pillowcase dress for my grandmother this morning for her to donate to her church. Then I fixed a pageant costume for a friend and then went down to pick up two prom dresses to be altered by next week! Lots and lots of sewing!

The kiddos were good for most of the morning but then they wanted to go outside. So reluctantly I got off my butt and we headed out. Jordan has been rather cranky today but whenever she can watch her brothers play she is fine. I have had about 10 people tell me she looks like my sister Carole this week!. I have always thought Carole is very beautiful so I'm thankful Jordy is looking like her!

Around lunch time we came in and Mason caught a catnap for about 10 minutes.

Then they played with angry birds... These stuffed birds are their all time favorites toys. They make no noise and require a huge imagination to have fun with! They go outside all the time and sit in the playhouse, trees, and even go down the slide.

After lunch we headed back outside and the boys found a tree to play in while I dug dandelions. Three buckets full!!! I am determined to have zero dandelions on my lawn within the next 15 years. Haha. We live right in the center of town and I want the lawn to look nice. Even though most of the time we have garbage deprey from Matt's boat...but we are working on it!

I have even planted my new creation! Thanks to a local florist who gave my boys all of these flowers as a Mother's Day gift! Thanks Kim!

Tomorrow I am headed to Portland for another appointment with the kidney specialist and then back to Bangor to pick up Masons new camouflage ear molds ...he is very excited! Of course there will be more picture of those! ( I will never apologize for the mass amount of pictures I take! I love reliving their childhood and these pictures are what I will cherish! )

Have a great week and don't forget to wish Harriet Perry a happy 60th birthday tomorrow!
